Radio Frequency (RF) induced low pressure plasma has a significant effect on promoting seed germination and plant growth patterns emerge from the irradiated seeds. For this reason, the present study was carried out on Basella alba seeds, a very well-known vegetable. Results show that after plasma irradiation, the germination rate of treated seeds is higher than untreated seeds. The results of the two experiments showed that the germination rate of plasma irradiated seeds increased by 10% and 20%, respectively. Also, the growth pattern and persistence rate of treated seeds are vigorous. These results are beneficial for both the farmer's economy and the vegetable consumers.
