Acne scars are the most common sequelae of the inflammatory process of acne and affects almost 95 percent of the patients with acne vulgaris. Microneedling is a relatively newer treatment modality in dermatology and has been used in various indications including skin rejuvenation, acne scarring, rhytides, surgical scars, dyschromia, melasma, enlarged pores, and transdermal drug delivery. Microneedling stands out to be the low cost, easiest and most efficacious modality in Asian skin.
